Peter Santos is an experienced business lawyer who currently sits on the firm’s Board of Directors.  His focus is on representing companies of all sizes in various business-related matters and, when necessary, in litigation.  His practice has often been on behalf of international companies operating in the U.S. and, as a former resident of London, Peter has worked with a broad range of international clients advising them on issues arising under American law. He has also worked with Nexsen Pruet’s Economic Development Team to help clients identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow their businesses in North America.

Peter’s work has focused on assisting companies in commercial transactions. Almost every day Peter and his team are drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising clients on a wide range of commercial agreements.  Recent significant projects have included an international distribution agreement for equipment using artificial intelligence to process waste, a multi-year manufacturing agreement covering consumer products that will be made in seven different countries and sold throughout the world, and adapting an extensive set of commercial agreements that were created for use in Europe to American legal standards.  A regular part of their practice is implementing proper procedures to assure acceptable terms and conditions are in place.

He is an active scuba diver, and has spent time under water in most of the major seas and some of the best dive locations around the world.  This corresponds to Peter’s interest in traveling - he usually logs hundreds of thousands of miles a year flying for business and personal travel. Ask him about a recent trip, and he'll surely have one to tell you about.
