Overview

Neal Robbins brings a decade of legal experience to Nexsen Pruet's Economic Development Group in North Carolina. He served as the Director of Legislative & Interngovernmental Affairs for the State of North Carolina's Department of Environment and Natural Resources from 2013-2015. Previously, he held the role of Policy Advisor for Environment and Information Technology for the Governor Elect.

He practiced in the Triad area for more than six years, including three at his firm Robbins Law, where his work included the following:

  • Represented buyers and sellers in acquisition transactions
  • Represented debtors in U.S. Bankruptcy Court
  • Represented banks and commercial lenders in North Carolina foreclosure cases
  • Advised clients and trade organizations on pending legislation and regulatory changes
  • Represented business interests in civil litigation
  • Represented political campaigns and political action committees
