Overview

I am a real estate attorney in Greensboro who delivers the skills and services clients need to manage a spectrum of issues related to project structuring, financing, zoning, permitting, and land use.   I also deliver counsel on a wide range of bankruptcy matters – from sophisticated to routine concerns – to help businesses and individuals navigate problematic financial situations.

My legal career began at Nexsen Pruet, where I worked as a Business Litigation Legal Assistant and a Summer Law Clerk while earning my law degree.  Those roles helped me shape a broad base of capabilities and exposed me to a wide range of practice areas, including environmental law, pharmaceutical litigation, and medical malpractice.

I also gained valuable insight in drafting memoranda involving discovery sanctions and violations of North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct and initial pleadings, including answers, motions, notices, discovery plans, interrogatories, and document requests.

I'm very competitive and when it comes to my clients' needs ...

I play to win.

I am originally from Hendersonville, NC where I grew up loving soccer, volleyball, and tennis. I also enjoy playing the piano and have been since age 6. For my last few years of high school, I  lived in Lexington, NC, the "BBQ capital of the South".

Before deciding to attend law school, I actually applied for culinary school - ultimately my passion for the practice of law outweighed my knack for conjuring up meals in the kitchen. But, don't get me wrong, I can still cook up a mean baked ziti.

In my down time, I enjoy cheering on the Hokies and managing my fantasy football team, "Harbaugh’sDadPants". Here's to a great season!
