Cindy Caldwell is the Client Service & Marketing Manager for Nexsen Pruet.  In that role, she has responsibility for client service initiatives, events, sponsorships, advertising, branding, collateral materials, and special projects.

As a member of Nexsen Pruet's Business Development team, Cindy supports several practice areas and industry groups firm wide.  Cindy works with attorneys in both the Charlotte and Greenville offices to help them expand their practice areas.  She manages and implements individual attorney marketing activities, business development plans, client entertainment and community involvement.

Past Experience

Cindy is a legal marketing professional with more than 25 years’ experience in business development, marketing and communications.  Prior to joining Nexsen Pruet, she served for eight years as Business Development Manager at a regional law firm.

Civic & Professional Memberships

Cindy is an active member of the Legal Marketing Association, and regularly participates in the activities of the Charlotte City Group and the Southeast Chapter.  She has served as City Group Chair in the past, and was also a Charlotte City Group board member.

She is involved in a number of professional and community organizations, including the North Carolina Folk Art Society, Mecklenburg Historical Association, and Women Executives of Charlotte.

Cindy is a passionate supporter of the Humane Society of Charlotte, and supports their community outreach and events as a volunteer.

Cindy loves the outdoors, and enjoys hiking whenever she can with her partner, Richard, and her dog Scout.  

Early in her career, she lived in Hong Kong, and worked in the publishing industry.  She is fascinated by other cultures, and her vacations usually involve adventure travel off the beaten track.  Recent destinations have included trips to Bhutan, Burma, Bali and Patagonia. 

Cindy also enjoys reading, gardening, knitting and fly fishing.  She is a loyal UNC Tar Heel fan.
